pools, saunas and gyms at their disposal within the complex. The beach is only a
short walk away and offer the opportunity to take part in some water based
activities. These include windsurfing, parasailing and jet skiing. Sun
worshippers can simply lie on the beach and soak up the warm sun. Estepona
offers the chance to go horse riding and pony trekking as well as a game of
tennis. There is also a small bullring and four museums to explore. San Pedro is
a must for those who love history. There is a 3rd century Roman bath house and a
6th century basilica, which has over 200 ancient tombs to see. A short journey
to Puerto Banus offers a multiplex cinema which shows films in a variety of
languages.
Shopping Opportunities
There is very little in the way of shopping in the area and for those who love
to shop, they will have to venture further afield. Estepona has the Calle real
and the Calle Terraza, both of which offer a smart range of retail outlets. You
will find items such as jewellery, shoes, clothing, hats, pottery, fine art and
perfume are available in abundance. San Pedro has a few small shops and an
outdoor market held on a Thursday every week. Puerto Banus has a larger
commercial shopping centre which everything you could want under one roof.
Eating Out and Nightlife
There are a variety of eateries located in Diana Park. You can savour some
international cuisine or stick to the traditional Spanish fare. There are Tapas
bars and cafés where you can stop and have lunch with a bottle of wine.
There are no discos or nightclubs in the area and the nearest are located in
Puerto Banus. The marina area of Puerto Banus is the best place to go for a
vibrant nightlife scene. Puerto anus also has a casino which offers live
entertainment during the months of summer.
