Calahonda. It has a quaint Spanish style and is popular with many visitors
due to its peaceful surroundings. It is still ideally located to enjoy all that

tranquillity.
Main Tourist Attractions
If you want to lie in the sun or take part in some furious water sports, the
Calypso is the perfect location for you. It is approximately 5 minutes walk from
some beautifully clean beaches which offer activities such as windsurfing,
diving and jet skiing. Several large golf courses, including the Riviera del Sol
Golf Club, are a short distance away for lovers of the game. In the immediate
area of Calypso, other sporting facilities such as squash, swimming, badminton
and volleyball are available. Marbella is only a 15 minute journey; here you can
take in some Moorish architecture or simply spend the day relaxing in the plush
green parks. Nearby
Fuengirola also offers a zoo to amuse the children and a multiplex cinema.
Tivoli World theme park is a 30 minute drive away at Torremolinos.
Shopping Opportunities
Calypso offers shoppers a chance to browse several small shops and supermarkets.

of Calypso. Most will offer both traditional Spanish meals and some
international cuisine. Calahonda has a vast range of quality eateries that have
a larger international cuisine menu including dishes from Britain, Italy, India
and France. You can enjoy a huge selection of local and international drinks
with your delicious meal.
Nightlife is somewhat subdued in Calypso to tie in with its relaxing and serene
appearance. A trip into the centre of the Calahonda urbanization is a different
matter entirely. Here you will find many bars, discos and nightclubs that are
all open until the early hours of the next day. You can enjoy live entertainment
such as Flamenco dancing or show off your talent in a karaoke bar. This area is
truly vibrant and lively during the evening and is where most visitors go when
they are staying in Calypso.
